Multi-wrap Accumulator: designed for aluminum or stainless steel strip up to 3” wide.
The unit will utilize 10” diameter sheaves with 13 wraps and 9 ¼’ of expansion.
Sheave material will be polypropylene.
Total accumulation length will be 240 feet of product.
The accumulator will be a vertical arrangement at approximately 13’ in overall height.
The upper moving rack will be motor driven.
The lower rack is mounted on a pivot for providing adjustable accumulator tension and accumulator expansion/collapse control.
A material out detector will be provided for clamping the strip at the infeed of the accumulator during reel transfers.
